If you use Gemini in Pakistan and you are starting to hit its limits, the question is no longer whether Google sells a paid AI plan here. It does. The real question is which plan is worth paying for, and whether you need to pay at all. All three Google AI plans — Plus, Pro and Ultra — are available in Pakistan, with prices listed in rupees on Google's Pakistan subscriptions page. That matters, because much of the pricing information circulating online for Pakistan is not Google's pricing at all. It is reseller pricing, old pricing, or pricing copied from another country and converted roughly into rupees.

This guide compares the official plans using only the prices and terms verified from Google's own Pakistan page on 5 November 2026, with supporting reporting from Pakistani sources. It also covers the one genuinely free route available right now: a 12-month free Google AI Plus offer for eligible higher-education students in Pakistan. If you are a student, read that section before you spend anything. If you are not, the comparison below should help you avoid paying for storage or features you will never use.

The official prices in Pakistan

Google lists its Pakistan prices in PKR per month. On 5 November 2026, the prices read directly from Google's Pakistan subscriptions page were Google AI Plus at Rs 1,400 per month, Google AI Pro at Rs 5,600 per month, and Google AI Ultra at Rs 21,999 per month for the 5x option and Rs 55,900 per month for the 20x option. Those figures were corroborated by Pakera reporting in late October 2026 and by App Store listings. That cross-check is useful because Google's prices in Pakistan have risen repeatedly, most recently on 27 July 2026, so a price quoted in a video or social media post from a few months ago may already be out of date. Re-check the price at checkout before you confirm a subscription.

The gap between the plans is large. Plus costs Rs 1,400 a month. Pro costs four times as much, at Rs 5,600. Ultra starts at Rs 21,999 a month for the 5x option — almost sixteen times the price of Plus — and the 20x option at Rs 55,900 a month is forty times the price of Plus. That does not make Ultra a bad plan. It makes it a plan for a very small group of people with very heavy, professional AI workloads. For most people in Pakistan, the realistic choice is between Plus and Pro, with Ultra only entering the conversation if you already know you need its higher limits and its most advanced models.

Storage is one of the clearest differences, and one of the easiest to judge against your own use. Plus includes 400 GB of storage, Pro includes 5 TB, and Ultra includes 20 TB, shared across Google services, so it is not only about Gemini. If your Google Photos library, Gmail and Google Drive are already close to full, the storage alone can justify a plan. If you have plenty of free space, it should not be the reason you choose a more expensive tier. A student who mainly needs Gemini for study help is unlikely to need 5 TB, while a photographer, video creator or small business storing large amounts of client work might find that 5 TB is the point at which Pro starts to make sense.

Google AI Plus: the affordable starting point

Google AI Plus is the entry-level paid plan, and for most people in Pakistan it is also the most sensible one. At Rs 1,400 per month, it is the only plan in the range that sits in the same price bracket as a single streaming subscription. It includes 400 GB of storage and access to Gemini with higher limits than the free tier. For everyday use — drafting emails, summarising documents, helping with study notes, planning, brainstorming and general questions — Plus is usually enough.

The important comparison is not Plus against Pro in the abstract. It is Plus against the free version of Gemini that you already have. The free tier in Pakistan now lists only Flash-Lite, following a change in around early to mid-October 2026, which means free users have a narrower set of models and lower limits than they may remember from earlier in the year. If you use Gemini every day, or for longer tasks that need more sustained access, you will feel that difference. Plus lifts those limits and adds the storage, which is why it is a reasonable upgrade for regular users who do not need the most advanced models.

Plus is also the plan at the centre of the student offer described below, and that is no coincidence. Google has positioned Plus for students and everyday users, while Pro and Ultra are aimed at professionals and power users. Paying four times as much for Pro does not make Gemini four times as useful for ordinary tasks. It gives you access to more advanced models and much higher limits, but if your tasks do not need those models, the extra money buys headroom you will never use.

Google AI Pro: who actually needs it

Google AI Pro costs Rs 5,600 per month in Pakistan, and it includes 5 TB of storage. The main reason to choose Pro over Plus is access to Google's more advanced Gemini models, including Gemini 4 Argon, which is available on Pro and Ultra only. If you work with long documents, complex analysis, coding, research or creative work where the quality of the model's reasoning matters, Pro can be a genuine step up. The larger context and higher limits also matter if you use Gemini for hours at a time or feed it large files regularly.

That said, Pro is not automatically the better value. Many people who upgrade because they have heard it is the "serious" plan end up using it exactly as they used the free tier: short questions, quick drafts and occasional summaries. For that kind of use, Plus delivers almost the same experience for Rs 4,200 less per month — Rs 50,400 over a year. Before choosing Pro, ask whether you have actually hit a limit that stopped you doing something, or are paying in advance for one you might hit one day. If it is the second, start with Plus and upgrade later.

There is also an eligibility point for Pro. Pro and Ultra require you to be 18 or older and to use a self-managed personal Google account. That rules out some managed accounts, such as accounts controlled by a school or employer, and it means younger users cannot simply sign up for Pro on their own. Read the terms on Google's offer page rather than assuming that every account qualifies.

Google AI Ultra: powerful, but not for most people

Google AI Ultra is Google's top tier, and its Pakistan pricing makes that clear. The 5x option costs Rs 21,999 per month and the 20x option costs Rs 55,900 per month, both with 20 TB of storage. Ultra is aimed at people who use AI as a core part of their professional work — researchers, developers, creators and professionals who need the highest limits, the most advanced models and the earliest access to new features. It is not a plan for occasional use, and its value does not come from storage alone, even though 20 TB is a very large amount of space.

For almost everyone, Ultra is a reference point rather than a recommendation. If you do need it, you will probably already know why: you are hitting Pro's limits regularly and the cost is justified by your work. If none of that applies, it is not a bargain you are missing. Note plainly: Rs 55,900 is the monthly price of the Ultra 20x option, not an annual price for Pro or any other plan. Always check which plan and billing period a quoted price belongs to.

The student offer: 12 months of Google AI Plus free

The best-value option in Pakistan right now is not a paid plan at all. Eligible higher-education students in Pakistan can get 12 months of Google AI Plus free. This is a verified offer, announced under the Pakistan–Google memorandum of understanding signed on 19 August 2026 and reported by the Express Tribune on 22 August 2026. Be precise about what it covers: in Pakistan, the free student offer is for Plus, not Pro. Students in the United States get Pro under their equivalent offer, but students in Pakistan get Plus. Anyone telling you that Pakistani students get a free year of Pro is describing the wrong country's offer.

To claim it, students go to one.google.com/ai-student and complete the verification process. The offer must be redeemed by 31 December 2026, so it is time-limited even though the free period itself lasts for 12 months once claimed. Verification is handled through SheerID, which checks student status, and you need a personal Google account to sign up. A valid payment method is required at sign-up, even though the first 12 months are free, and the plan auto-renews at Rs 1,400 per month unless you cancel after the free period ends. Set a reminder before the free year runs out if you do not want to be charged, and check the offer page if you are unsure about the exact age threshold — sources differ on whether it is 18+ or 16+, and the offer page itself is the authority.

For a student, this offer changes the comparison completely. Twelve months of Plus free means 400 GB of storage and higher Gemini limits for a full academic year without paying Rs 1,400 a month — Rs 16,800 over the year. Use Plus through your real coursework first; only consider Pro if you keep hitting a wall that only a more advanced model would solve.

Paying in Pakistan: what to check before you subscribe

Price is only half the question. The other half is whether you can pay smoothly, and there are a few Pakistan-specific points worth knowing before you subscribe. Virtual credit cards are listed as unsupported in Pakistan, and Easypaisa and JazzCash wallets are not listed as accepted payment methods for Google AI plans. That does not mean every bank card will fail, but do not assume that the payment method you use for local apps will work for a Google subscription. Some Pakistani banks also block international card payments by default, so if a payment is declined, it may be a bank setting rather than a problem with Google. Checking with your bank, or enabling international transactions on the card you intend to use, can save a frustrating round of failed attempts.

It is also worth remembering that prices in Pakistan have risen repeatedly, most recently on 27 July 2026. Google may change its Pakistan prices again, and a price quoted in an article — including this one — is a snapshot of what was listed on a particular date. The price you are actually charged is the price shown at checkout. If the checkout price does not match what you expected, stop and re-check which plan and billing option you have selected before confirming, rather than assuming the difference is a tax or a fee. Whether PKR prices include tax is not something that could be verified from the sources used for this guide, so do not assume either way.

No general free trial could be verified for Pakistan, and no Jazz, Telenor, Zong or Ufone bundle was found, so verify any such claim through Google's own pages before paying or sharing account details. Whether the Pixel 11 Pro 6-month AI Pro trial reported elsewhere applies in Pakistan could not be verified either, so do not assume it is available here.

Reseller prices are not Google's prices

The most important warning in this guide concerns the prices you will see outside Google's own pages. Local reseller listings in Pakistan advertise Google AI access for Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,999 for "12 to 18 months", and those figures look tempting next to the official monthly prices. They are not Google's pricing. They are unofficial shared or resold accounts, and they should not be presented — or understood — as an official Google offer.

A shared or resold account can stop working without warning, can be shared with strangers, and can put your files, chats and personal information at risk if you are using someone else's account or sharing your own login details. Google's terms do not support this kind of resale, and there is no official support route if the account is suspended or the seller disappears. Never share your Google password, one-time codes or recovery information with a seller, and never buy an account that requires you to hand over those details. If a deal looks far cheaper than Google's own price for the same period, that is not a bargain to celebrate. It is a signal that something about the offer is not what it claims to be.

This guide also does not convert US or European prices into rupees and present them as Pakistani prices, because Google sets local prices separately. The only reliable Pakistan prices are the ones Google lists on its Pakistan page, and those are the ones used here.

Which plan should you choose?

For most people in Pakistan, the decision is straightforward once the student question is settled. If you are an eligible higher-education student, claim the 12 months of Google AI Plus free before 31 December 2026. It costs nothing for a year, it gives you the storage and limits that most students need, and it lets you learn from real use whether you need anything more. Set a reminder before it auto-renews at Rs 1,400 per month, and cancel if you do not want to continue paying.

If you are not a student and you use Gemini regularly, start with Plus at Rs 1,400 per month. It includes 400 GB of storage and removes the limits that make the free tier frustrating for daily use. Choose Pro at Rs 5,600 per month only if you have a specific reason to — Gemini 4 Argon, the 5 TB of storage, or sustained heavy use that Plus cannot handle. "Pro sounds better" is not a specific reason. Choose Ultra only if your work demands it. At Rs 21,999 a month for the 5x option and Rs 55,900 a month for the 20x option, it is a professional expense, not a casual upgrade. Whichever plan you choose, check the price at checkout, use a payment method you know works for international payments, and do not buy access from a reseller.
