If you have searched for Google AI prices in the Philippines recently, you have probably seen different numbers on different pages. Some are simply out of date. The prices in this guide are the ones listed on Google's own Philippines subscriptions page when it was read directly on 5 November 2026, so check the same page again before you pay. An old screenshot is not a substitute for the live checkout price.
The cheapest legitimate route is also rarely the headline monthly price. In the Philippines, it might be a verified student offer, or a laptop bundle you already qualify for. This guide covers the current prices first, then the verified offers, then how to pay, who can subscribe, and how to avoid the traps around any popular subscription.
The current prices in the Philippines
All three plans β Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra β are available in the Philippines. In some countries only part of the range is sold; here, you are simply choosing between three tiers.
Google AI Plus costs β±285 per month and includes 400 GB of storage. It is the entry-level paid plan, and for many people the sensible default β useful storage if you are close to the free limit, and a step up from free Gemini without the much higher cost of Pro.
Google AI Pro costs β±1,100 per month and includes 5 TB of storage. That is a large jump in price, and an even larger jump in storage. Pro is priced for people who use AI tools heavily and also need a lot of storage, and the monthly difference adds up quickly over a year. If you are not sure you need that much, Plus is the safer place to start.
Google AI Ultra is listed in two forms: Ultra 5x at β±5,999 per month and Ultra 20x at β±11,900 per month. Ultra is the top tier, and the price makes that clear. For most students, freelancers and small-business owners, it will be far more than they need. Treat it as a specialist option, not a normal upgrade.
One warning is worth stating plainly. Two older figures are still circulating and should not be used: Plus at β±275 and Ultra at β±13,900. Those were the figures in circulation around September 2025, and they no longer match Google's Philippines page. If a guide or seller quotes them, the source has not been updated. Do not convert a US dollar price into pesos and present the result as a Philippine price either. The local price is the price on the Philippine page, in pesos.
Whether the peso prices include the 12% digital-services VAT has not been verified, so check the price at checkout rather than assuming the listed price is the final amount. No annual-billing price for the Philippines has been verified either, so do not assume a yearly discount exists until Google shows one on the local page.
| Plan | Price in the Philippines | Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Google AI Plus | β±285 per month | 400 GB |
| Google AI Pro | β±1,100 per month | 5 TB |
| Google AI Ultra 5x | β±5,999 per month | Top tier |
| Google AI Ultra 20x | β±11,900 per month | Top tier |
Which plan fits the way you work
Start with what you already do, not with what the most expensive plan promises. If you use Gemini for study, everyday writing, planning and general help, and you want more storage without a large monthly commitment, Plus at β±285 per month is the natural fit. Try it for a few months, see whether you actually use it daily, and cancel if you do not.
Pro makes sense when two things are both true: you use AI tools a lot, and you need the storage. If you store large amounts of photos, video, documents and backups across Google services, and you already pay for storage separately, Pro can look more reasonable because it combines the AI tier and the storage in one subscription. If you do not need 5 TB, the storage alone is not a reason to pay β±1,100 a month.
Ultra is a different decision. At β±5,999 a month for 5x and β±11,900 for 20x, it is for people whose daily work depends on the top tier in a way that directly earns back the cost. If that does not describe you, choosing Plus or Pro is not settling for less; it is matching the subscription to the work you actually do.
Note, too, that from 9 October 2026, the free Gemini experience in the Philippines keeps only Flash-Lite. The free version has not disappeared, but the gap between free and paid is now more noticeable. If you are already finding it limiting, that is a better reason to pay for Plus than any feature list: you are paying to remove a limit you have actually hit.
Age matters as well. Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra are for users aged 18 and over. Check the age and enrolment conditions on the official page, including for the student offer below, rather than assuming they match the general subscription rules.
The verified student offer: 12 months of Plus free
For eligible students, this is the most valuable verified offer in the Philippines. Eligible college and university students can get 12 months of Google AI Plus free, claimable until 31 December 2026. Check the eligibility wording first, and only then go through the claim process.
Enrolment verification is required, and a valid payment method is also required β but you are not charged during the 12 months. After the free period, the subscription renews at β±285 per month unless you cancel, so set a calendar reminder well before the renewal date. A free year is only a good deal if you decide deliberately whether to keep paying afterwards.
For a student, this changes the starting point: instead of asking whether Plus is worth β±285 a month, you can try the paid tier for a year and then decide with real experience behind you. Claim it through Google's own process, keep a record of the confirmation, and do not hand your login details to anyone who offers to claim it for you.
A student Pro price that is not confirmed
One student-related price needs careful handling, because it is easy to repeat as fact when it is not. A student price for Pro at β±275 per month, described as 75% off for up to four years, has been reported by one local source only β Unbox, on 24 August 2026 β and it is not confirmed on Google's own page. That does not mean the report is wrong, but it is single-source and unverified, and should not be treated like the prices on Google's Philippines page or the verified student Plus offer above.
So do not budget around β±275 a month for Pro, and do not pay anyone who promises to activate Pro at that price for you. If Google confirms the offer on its own page, it will be straightforward to verify and claim through the official route. Until then, the confirmed student route is 12 months of Plus free, and the confirmed paid price for Pro is β±1,100 a month. If you see the β±275 figure quoted without that caveat, the source is not distinguishing between a report and a confirmation β be cautious about anything else it claims.
The ASUS and ROG laptop bundle: 3 months free
If you have recently bought, or are about to buy, a laptop, check whether you already qualify for free Google AI access before you pay. Eligible 2025, 2026 and upcoming 2027 ASUS and ROG laptops β including ROG, TUF, ProArt, Zenbook and Vivobook models β can get three months of Google AI Pro or Plus free. The offer is redeemed through the MyASUS app, it started on 7 September 2026, and it is available at authorised retailers nationwide.
It is easy to miss: it is not limited to one model range or one retailer, but it is tied to eligible models and to redemption through MyASUS. If you bought an eligible laptop and never opened MyASUS, you may not have seen it. If you are choosing between two similar laptops, ask the retailer whether the model is eligible, and confirm the redemption steps before you leave the store.
Three months is long enough to use Pro or Plus for real work and see whether the paid tier earns its monthly price. When it ends, you either pay the confirmed monthly price or stop β a choice made with three months of experience, not a guess. Redeem it through the official MyASUS route, do not share your Google password or any one-time code with anyone who offers to redeem it for you, and check the end date so the renewal does not catch you by surprise.
How to pay in the Philippines, and what does not work
Payment is where many Philippine subscribers run into avoidable problems, usually because they assume a method that works for other purchases will work for a subscription. Google Play in the Philippines accepts cards β including Discover, JCB and UnionPay β as well as GCash, PayMaya/Maya, ShopeePay and PayPal, and carrier billing via Dito, Smart and Sun. For most people one of those options will be straightforward, and many readers will already use GCash or Maya daily.
There are specific limits. Globe billing has not accepted new Play subscription sign-ups since 8 July 2024. If you are a Globe user, do not assume carrier billing will work for a new Google AI subscription β check the payment options at checkout and have a backup ready, such as a card, GCash, Maya, ShopeePay or PayPal. Cash cannot pay for subscriptions, including cash through outlets such as 7-Eleven or ECPay. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either mistaken or trying to take your money through an unofficial route.
Carrier billing has one more limit: it works only in the Play Store app, not on the web. If you are subscribing on a laptop and the carrier option does not appear, that may be why β try the Play Store app on your phone, or choose a different method. And check the price at checkout before you confirm, because the VAT position has not been verified.
If a payment method fails, check the method, the account and the checkout page β do not hand your details to a stranger. Keep your payment details in the official Google flow, use a method you trust, and keep the receipt and confirmation so you can check the renewal date and amount later.
Buying safely: red flags to watch for
The most important part of this guide is not a price. It is the reminder that TechOrCoffee is not Google. Google AI plans are sold by Google, through Google's own pages and the Play Store. If someone offers you a cheaper price, a longer free period, or an activation through a method Google does not describe, that is not a bargain β it is a warning sign.
Never share your Google account password, your one-time codes, or your recovery information with anyone who offers to set up, activate or discount a subscription for you. No legitimate seller needs those details; anyone who asks for them is asking for control of your account. The same applies to offers that promise a guaranteed result, discount or free period beyond what Google itself offers. This guide makes no such guarantee, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. A real offer can be checked on Google's own page; a guarantee that cannot be checked is not a guarantee at all.
Be equally cautious about claims that a seller is a Google partner or an authorised reseller. This guide makes no such claim, and you should not accept one from a seller without independent, verifiable proof from Google itself. A logo on a social media page or a screenshot of a chat is not proof. If the price is far below the confirmed peso prices here β Plus β±285, Pro β±1,100, Ultra β±5,999 or β±11,900 a month β ask how the seller could offer it legitimately, and what they gain. Often the answer is your account, your payment details, or both.
Subscribe through Google's own Philippines page or the Play Store app, and check the URL before you sign in. Keep the confirmation email and the renewal date, and set a calendar reminder a few days before any free period ends β the student Plus year, or the three-month ASUS bundle β so you choose whether to continue. If something goes wrong, go to Google's own help and account pages first, not to a seller who found you through a comment or a direct message.
A simple decision checklist before you subscribe
Work through this short list in a few minutes. First, check the current prices on Google's Philippines subscriptions page. Then check whether you qualify for a verified free period β the student Plus offer, or the ASUS and ROG bundle if you have an eligible laptop. There is no point paying for a month you could have had free through a legitimate route.
Next, choose the tier that matches your actual use: Plus for most people, Pro when heavy use and 5 TB of storage both apply, Ultra only if your work genuinely needs the top tier. Check your payment method, remembering the Globe, cash and web limits above, and check the price at checkout. Finally, subscribe through the official route, keep your login and payment details to yourself, and set that renewal reminder. An affordable Google AI plan in the Philippines is not about finding a secret discount. It is about paying the right price, for the right plan, through the right channel β and nothing more.
